The Alpha Phi Foundation
The Alpha Phi Foundation advances women’s lives through the power of philanthropy, funding empowering Fraternity leadership programming, life-changing scholarships and assistance grants, cutting-edge women’s heart health research, and critical heritage preservation. At the chapter level, we support the Foundation through events hosted for the Davis communities. In 2025, our chapter was able to raise over $30,000 in support of Women's Heart Health!

MAC N PHIS
Mac N Phis is our annual fall philanthropy event! What could make you happier than eating a big bowl of mac n cheese with your sisters and friends?! We invite the Greek and Davis community to join us for this event. Individuals buy tickets for our unlimited mac n cheese bar. Attendees get to build their own bowl with toppings including bacon, hot cheetos, extra cheese, sour cream and the list goes on. We love opening our home to the community while raising money at the same time! In 2025, we were so proud to raise over $2,000 for the Alpha Phi Foundation in support of Women's Heart Health!
RED DRESS GALA
In the winter, we host our annual Red Dress Gala, our biggest philanthropy event of the year! It's a night where we get to invite our family, friends, and alumnae to share in this cause that we keep so close to our hearts. We have silent and live auction items, raffles, food, and fun to raise money for the Alpha Phi Foundation. We are so proud to have raised over $30,000 in support of Women's Heart Health from this event in 2025! Red Dress Gala is an event so special to our chapter and we are so incredibly honored to be raising awareness for heart health.
KING OF HEARTS
King of Hearts is our annual spring philanthropy which brings all of the Greek community at UC Davis together to compete in a variety of events in support of Women’s Heart Health. These events have included basketball tournaments, food eating contests, pie-a-phi, coin wars and much more, with different competitions every year. At the end of the week, the winning group is crowned “The King/Queen of Hearts” in recognition of their contribution to the Alpha Phi Foundation. We are so grateful to have a philanthropy that motivates other Greek life chapters on campus to raise money for Women's Heart Health!
