SCHOLARSHIP

The women of Alpha Phi at UC Davis put their academics at the highest priority. We are all beyond grateful for the education we are receiving at this pristine research university and always make sure we are academically preforming at our hardest. We are proud to say that our chapter's grade point average is a 3.268 and each quarter our sisters earn 4.0's and spots on the UC Davis Deans List.

We have sisters in a variety of majors such as Animal Science, Design, Microbiology, Human Development, International Relations, Mathematics, Psychology, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Political Science, and Landscape Architecture. Many of our sisters are even pursuing double majors or minors! We always make sure that our sisters are doing well in their classes and help them if they are struggling in any way. We even have a Director of Academics who hosts study hours on campus and works to provide our sisters with the resources they need to do well in their classes. We are so happy that our sisters value their education and are always striving for academic excellence.

Letter From Malia Solanki

I was worried that joining a sorority would make it harder to keep up with my schoolwork, especially with the fast-paced quarter system, but it turned out to be the complete opposite!

After joining Alpha Phi, I realized that being surrounded by such driven, passionate, and accomplished women has helped me grow so much, both academically and personally. I've never felt like I had to choose between school and Alpha Phi because they've both become such a natural part of my life. Whether it's going on study dates with my sisters, taking classes together, or just being there to support one another, Alpha Phi has made academics feel so much more manageable and even more enjoyable.

I even found a way to connect my passion for engineering with Alpha Phi by previously serving as the engineering chair, where I support my sisters in STEM by planning study sessions and sharing academic opportunities. I can confidently say that I wouldn't be the student I am without the encouragement and inspiration I've found in Alpha Phi!
